Sport is not spared by the persistence of stereotypes. In order to fight against clichés, Julie bourdais, employee of Youth Sporting Allonnes (Sarthe) foresee Saturday, December 4, 2021 a morning devoted to deconstructing received ideas in the sports field and fighting against sexism.

For young people aged 8 to 15

A first time will be devoted to young people from 8 to 15 years old at the municipal youth service, rue Pierre Levegh, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Pauline Geslin of the childhood education service and Hassan afoulen of the youth service will lead the meeting to make young people aware that all sports are accessible to all.

A debate for adults

For adults, a debate is organized at the Maison des Arts Paul Fort, at 18 rue Georges Bizet in Allonnes, from 10:15 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Athletes, club leaders, educators, families, students … can attend the exchange where will be present Nicole abar, former professional footballer, Cedric Hayère, director of the UNSS in Sarthe and Angelina Etiamble, sociologist at Le Mans University.

The thematic evoked will be: « What is the definition of the word cliché? » « , » Why do young girls drop out of sports as soon as they arrive at college? « , » Why do we say that sport is a man’s business? »,» Inclusion of people with disabilities. «
