DR Congo will be able to play their match against Algeria in the CAN qualifiers for under-23s. The meeting is postponed due to the emergency situation experienced by the Leopards U23.
After coming close to a crash on Friday, the DRC national under-23 team is set on its fate. The Congolese Football Federation (Fecofa) announced on Saturday that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) accepted its request and postponed the match against Algeria to Sunday at 6 p.m. in Sétif.
The continental body considered that the situation experienced by the Leopards U23 on Friday was indeed « a case of force majeure ».
