As relayed in our columns at the beginning of the week, Rennes reached an agreement with Minnesota United (MLS) for the transfer of Adrien Hunou (27 years old).
Stade Rennais formalized it a few minutes ago. Adrien Hunou, who had a starving playing time in recent months, will no longer wear the Breton colors since he has just signed with the franchise of Minneapolis, Minnesota United, in MLS. A transfer that could bring in around three million euros in the club’s coffers. Arrived at the SRFC at the age of 16, the native of Evry will have spent 11 seasons in the Red and Black jersey (160 games, 36 goals scored among the pros). He will join the ten or so French players already playing in Major League Soccer (see video at the bottom of the page).
After 11 seasons at Stade Rennais FC, the 27-year-old striker trained at the club takes the direction of the United States where he will now play in Major League Soccer with @MNUFC. We wish you the best @AHunou ! 🤝https: //t.co/XyYEP7YxQS
