A week of sport, health and well-being at the Lycée Victor-Hugo, in Hennebont – Hennebont

“The 14-16 year olds have lost 25% of their physical capacities compared to previous generations. This is mainly due to progress, digital. We must not banish it but rebalance things ”. Based on this observation, the Lycée Victor-Hugo has set up a week of “sport, health and well-being” actions.

The idea is to get high school students not to be in sports performance but that they integrate that sporting physical activity or not is a tool at the service of their health. Flash mob, introduction to rowing, table tennis, etc., are on the program for this week, thanks to associations and PE teachers.

The principal, Denis Chauvois, also insisted that all the second classes benefit from a breakfast at 8 am, with the presence of a dietician. “It’s 20% of the fuel for the day. They must therefore understand the impact, « says Michel Kervadec, physical activity, health and sport advisor, who sums up this week with this slogan: » Eat well and be active but without necessarily wanting to prepare for the 2024 Olympics! «
