A teammate of Youri Tielemans is of interest to two major English clubs
According to RMC Sport, French defender Wesley Fofana is on the lists of two Premier League giants.
Injured in the fibula in August 2021, Leicester central defender Wesley Fofana pushed back the lawn of Old Trafford on April 2. The French U21 defender quickly found the rhythm of the Premier League by performing well, especially in the Conference League where he was eliminated by the eventual winner of the competition, AS Roma.
And since his return to the English fields, the French nugget has aroused the curiosity of two great English clubs, Chelsea and Manchester United. Chelsea first want to sign another Frenchman, Jules Koundé, to replace Antonio Rüdiger, whose file will be less expensive. Because indeed Fofana has just signed a contract which binds him until 2027 in Leicester.
To obtain the services of Wesley Fofana, the Foxes will ask for 80 million euros. A record compensation but not likely to discourage suitors accustomed to drawing the release clauses, according to RMC Sport.
