According to the Professional Football League, Brest supporters threw projectiles at an official. “In view of the seriousness of the facts, the Disciplinary Committee of the LFP had decided on September 7 to put the file under investigation,” recalls this one.
During the match, which ended with a parity score (1-1) and played at the Francis-Le Blé stadium, the Strasbourg coach, Julien Stéphan, notably received two yellow cards and was consequently expelled from the field by referee Bastien Dechepy.
