Sixteen matches in two days

It’s not every day that Franche-Comté hosts a national final, which will bring together the best sixteen university football teams in France, divided into four categories. The sixteen matches will take place on Wednesday 8 at the Pouges sports complex (2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.), and Thursday 9 at the Blum stadium in Montbéliard (9:30 a.m.), and at theseloncourt training center (9:30 a.m., 12:45 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.). Discuss VAR with a lawyer

It’s a big event for the Bourgogne Franche-Comté University Sports League, which has more than 1,200 students registered this season in Franche-Comté alone. It organizes more than 300 sporting events each year.

This championship is also an opportunity to organize special events. Among them, a study day on the « Football of 3e millennium”, this Tuesday, June 7, from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Pays de Montbéliard agglomeration council chamber. We will talk, among other things, about the « feminization of football » (2:45 p.m.), the much criticized VAR (video arbitration, 3:45 p.m.) with a lawyer and jurist, or even arbitration, with the former international referee Michel Vautrot (4:45 p.m.).

Foot electric wheelchair Saturday at the Axone

This day will be concluded with a round table (5:45 p.m.), where we will talk about the training of professional footballers, the economy of football, but also the post-professional career with a well-known face: the former player and striker of FCSM Pierre -Alain Frau, now trainer at the club.

This special week dedicated to football will conclude with an unusual competition: the Axone gymnasium will host the semi-finals of the « EDF – Enedis Coupe Bourgogne Franche-Comté » at 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. foot electric wheelchair.
