The number of spectators for the 16th final of the Coupe de France between Chauvigny (N3) and Marseille (L1), Sunday (9 p.m.) in Limoges, has been set at 8,000 “to ensure the best sanitary conditions”, said Thursday the prefecture of Haute-Vienne in a press release. The prefecture specifies that « the public will not be able to eat inside the stadium » and “the bars will be closed”. In normal times, the maximum number of spectators at the Beaublanc stadium is around 13,000 seats.
A gauge of 5,000 people for outdoor sporting events must come into force the day after the match, Monday, and will notably concern two matches in the round of 16: Vannes-PSG (Monday) and Lens-Lille (Tuesday). « We thank the prefect and the city of Limoges, despite this difficult health context, for having heard the requests of football fans in Vienne and Haute-Vienne », wrote the National 3 club on its Facebook page.
