« A formal notice ».. Morocco wants to withdraw the jersey of Algeria!

The last jersey of the « Fennecs » triggered a new « diplomatic crisis » between Algeria and Morocco.

Indeed, the Moroccan Ministry of Culture contested the use of motifs representing Moroccan zellige (ceramic) in the warm-up jersey of « Warriors of the Desert ».

According to the newspaper « Le Monde », the Moroccan Ministry of Culture has ordered the German equipment manufacturer Adidas to remove this « controversial » jersey.
