A departure from the midfield formalized at the Gym
OGC Nice continues its transfer window without noise. After the departure of Mario Lemina and pending that of Andy Delort, the club has completed a start in the middle.
OGC Nice is certainly discreet, but remains active on the transfer market this winter, in both directions. The Riviera club has registered the arrival of Youssouf Ndayishimiye (24), a versatile central defender from Istanbul Başakşehir FK. In the next few hours, the Gym should register the signature of Terem Moffi of FC Lorient. In the direction of departures, Mario Lemina was transferred to Wolverhampton in the Premier League. Before the end of the winter transfer window, Andy Delort will leave OGC Nice to join FC Nantes, a club with which he has already reached a contractual agreement.
OGC Nice Mercato: Morgan Schneiderlin loaned to Western Sydney Wanderers FC
While waiting for the departure of the Algerian center-forward, the Aiglons have recorded that of Morgan Schneiderlin (33 years old). Having not played a single match this season either with Lucien Favre (left on January 9) or with Didier Digard (new coach), the midfielder will end the season in Major League Soccer (MLS). In an official press release, the Gym informed of his departure to Australia. “OGC Nice and Western Sydney Wanderers Football Club have agreed to loan Morgan Schneiderlin. OGC Nice wishes him every success. »
After RC Strasbourg, Southampton, Manchester United and Everton, the former French international (15 caps) will discover a new championship and live a new adventure in Australia, with the Wanderers. Morgan Schneiderlin will find in Australia, the former Brazilian defender of OL, Marcelo Guedes, Romain Amalfitano (former midfielder of Reims and Dijon) or Yeni N’Gbakoto (ex-AS Nancy and EA Guingamp). Arriving in Nice in July 2020, the Strasbourg native played 59 games with the Gym.
