57 GT & protos from the 2000s as a curtain raiser!

A superb field of GTs and prototypes dating from the 2000s will animate the Circuit de la Sarthe as a curtain-raiser for the 89th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, scheduled for August 21 and 22, 2021.

As we told you here, the program of 24 Hours of Le Mans 2021 promises to be more than generous. Among the opening events of the great French classic, theEndurance Racing Legends has just unveiled a list of entries (below) bringing together no less than 57 GT and prototypes of the 2000s!

Organized by Peter Auto, whose reputation for‘historical events is no longer to be done, the support event will bring together various and prestigious models that Porsche 911 GT1 from 1997, Aston Martin DBR9, Ferrari 550 Maranello, Dodge Viper GTS-R but also Riley & Scott MK III, a Lola-MG EX257 from 2004 or even a Bentley Speed ​​8 from 2003.

Several ancient glories of motorsport will be there as Emmanuel Collard, 24 participations in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, at the wheel of the Porsche 911 GT1. Let us also quote Darren turner, Martin Short, Stuart Hall, Pierre Bruneau, Marc Rostan or Pierre Ehret.

Competitors will have one free practice session, followed by qualifying practice then two races, broadcast live on the Facebook page and YouTube channel of Peter Auto. An event not to be missed for enthusiasts!
