We are currently in the middle of the NFL offseason with less than 100 days to go and the San Francisco 49ers have just announced the signing of Darryl Johnson.
Darryl Johnson was drafted in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills. Johnson played last season for the Seattle Seahawks, where he only played four games last season due to a foot injury.
The Linebacker (LB) played 16 games for the Bills in 2019 resulting in one sack, two tackles for loss of ground, and two hits on a Quarterback. He then played a second season for Buffalo then in 2021, Darryl Johnson went to the Carolina Panthers where he played only three games.
Following this signing, the San Francisco 49ers waived receiver Shae Wyatt, whom they had signed last month as an undrafted free agent.
