3rd match lost for Racing Club de Strasbourg which lost (2-1) against Montpellier

Racing Club de Strasbourg played away at the Stade de la Mosson in Montpellier this Saturday for the 8th day of Ligue 1 and unfortunately the nightmarish trend of this start to the season continues. The very start of the match, however, announced a dynamic start with great opportunities for the Strasbourg players. But in the 17th minute, the ax fell and the score opened with a Montpellier goal scored by Arnaud Nordin. The ordeal then continued with a second goal from Montpellier (47′) this time scored by Nicolas Cozza, but refused by the referee.

The second half got off to an insipid start, before seeing the arrival of the first Strasbourg goal scored by Habib Diallo in the 85th minute. An equalizing goal which gave hope to the Alsatians to regain control, but which unfortunately was short-circuited at the last minute by a victorious penalty for Montpellier, which ended the match with a final score of 2 goals to 1 .
