3 big names in the league humiliated, beaten on the amateur circuit!

Abandoned for a few years by the stars of the NBA, the Pro-Am circuit has seen some of them come back to it this summer. However, some did not take the opportunity to shine, including a trio of teammates defeated by strangers!

Whether it’s the mythical Drew League or its competitors, all of them have had some difficulty in finding a place in the news in recent years. Fortunately, the Pro-Am leagues have recently regained their appeal, thanks to the presence of big names from the NBA in their ranks. However, the latter do not always manage to crush their opponents in this favorable context.

Three Knicks stars struck down by amateurs

While waiting to be able to make their debut together at the Knicks, Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle and Obi Toppin had made an appointment in the Bronx, this Monday evening, to team up there. On the occasion of the Nike Pro City playoffs, the three New Yorkers thus offered a nice show to the crowd gathered in the gymnasium of Hostos Community College, obviously committed to their cause:

Powerful Tomars from the last winner of the Dunk Contest, 3-point stepbacks offered by the interior, flashy passes and moves from the newcomer: the highlights were not lacking in this meeting, which did not however end as intended. Indeed, despite all their talent, Toppin (25 points), Randle (18 points) and Brunson (24 points) failed to prevent the heavy defeat of theirs!

The Pro City Hoops team formed by Julius Randle, Obi Toppin and Jalen Brunson lost by 13 points this (Monday) evening (97-110).

The most slanderous will go so far as to say that the three men are already starting to get used to the results of their franchise in the coming months!

For an unofficial first under the same colors, Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle and Obi Toppin did not obtain the expected result on the Pro-Am circuit. Knicks fans just have to wish that they will be more successful on the NBA courts!
