The CW and VICE TV will broadcast a series dedicated to IndyCar in six episodes: 100 Days to Indy. This series will air in the spring of 2023.
After Formula 1, MotoGP and NASCAR, it is around INDYCAR to unveil a series in several episodes, six in this case, behind the scenes of the discipline. This docuseries is called 100 Days to Indy and will air first on The CW, then on VICE TV.
These six episodes will focus on teams and drivers as they prepare for the biggest race of the season, the Indianapolis 500. The broadcast is scheduled for next spring on The CW, the fifth largest television network across the Atlantic.
“The Indy 500 is a unique event, the most exhilarating on the planet. It’s a spectacle without equal, fueled by ambitious, fearless and captivating personalities. This series will give viewers a front seat as the season kicks off and the countdown to the Indy 500 speeds up.”says Mark Miles, president of Penske Entertainment.
It is therefore VICE Media Group which will shoot and produce the documentary on behalf of The CW.
“VICE is honored to produce the first unscripted project with Nexstar and The CW since the acquisition. VICE is looking forward to driving this docuseries with IndyCar,” said Morgan Hertzman, president of Global TV at VICE Media Group.
